The UN’s refugee agency has voiced concerns over reports that Greece and Bulgaria were turning back Syrians fleeing their war-ravaged homeland, forcing them to return to overloaded Turkey.

Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is shocked and saddened by the latest acts of violence in Tripoli, which resulted in the death of dozens of people, said an AU statement on Sunday. The chair person is deeply concerned at the increasing violence and lawlessness in the country, including a series of similar incidents in Benghazi and other cities in recent weeks, said the statement.
