Ankara has called on Egyptian authorities to respect the rule of law and the people’s will by sticking to democratic norms, in an apparent reference to the army’s possible intervention into the country’s crisis-torn political scene.

For a sixth morning in a row, Bulgarians will stage a coffee-drinking anti-government protest in front of the Parliament building in downtown Sofia. The demonstration on Wednesday morning is expected to be the largest rally held in front of Parliament so far.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić talked with a delegation of the Slovenian parliament led by Parliament Speaker Janko Veber in Belgrade.
