Egypt’s state prosecution ordered on Monday the arrest of 28 people, supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, in relation to clashes that erupted on Friday in different areas of Alexandria.

Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki traveled Sunday to the United States, where he will attend the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York. Marzouki will be addressing the assembly, which traditionally meets in late September and brings together heads of state from around the world.

A Cairo court ordered on Monday the banning of all activities by the Muslim Brotherhood, the group and the registered NGO, in Egypt.
