United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Filippo Grandi, called on the international community to provide Jordan with the necessary funding to enable it to play its role in serving Syrian refugees.

His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday visited the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command, where he was received by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Freihat and the RJAF commander.

The ministerial meeting of the US-led International Coalition against Daesh on Tuesday kicked off in Kuwait with the participation of representatives from 74 countries and international organizations, including Jordan. The Jordanian delegation is headed by Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi.
