Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here on Sunday said that his country would open its embassy in the Gambian capital city of Banjul in the near future.

As a member of the African countries, Gambia always renders its political and spiritual supports to Iran against injustices, the country’s foreign minister Bala Garba Jahumpa said here on Sunday.

Gambia’s embassy in Tehran was inaugurated here on Sunday in the presence of the two countries’ foreign ministers.
