TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel stressed that the United States’ pressures on Iran which are exerted on the pretext of the nuclear issue are in fact in revenge for the vigilance of the world of Islam.
Addressing a large public congregation in the city of Pol-e Dokhtar, in Lorestan province on Thursday, Haddad Adel said, “The nuclear issue is just an excuse, as they themselves know very well that Iran is neither making nor intends to make a military use of the nuclear technology. They are seeking an excuse in a bid to prevent any further expansion of the current wave of vigilance in the world of Islam.”
The top legislative official also underlined unity of the Iranian nation in defending the country’s right of access to the peaceful nuclear technology, and reiterated that no force or power may ever succeed in defeating Iran.
He further viewed resistance and victory of the Lebanese people as a result of the Islamic vigilance which has, in turn, been inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran, which he described as a true representation of Islam.
