Deadline extended for 24 hours on Koreans

1161.jpgThe Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has extended the deadline for the 23 Koreans it is holding for another 24 hours as talks are underway to meet their demands to release Taliban prisoners in exchange while their Mujahideen carried out various attacks including destroying two US supply vehicles.

After initially saying the hostages would be killed Sunday, the Taliban extended the deadline until Monday afternoon as South Korean officials and local tribal elders were involved in talks with the Taliban on Sunday as negotiations continue at press time.

Meanwhile the Islamic Emirate had issued a fresh report on several military operations it has carried out, including a strike against two US supply vehicles including a oil tanker and a supply truck that demolished both vehicles.

Islamic Emirate Of Afghanistan Extends Korean Deadline For 24 Hours

In consideration that a South Korean team has arrived in Kabul to spearhead efforts to gain the freedom of its national and talks are underway with the Mujahideen through the tribal elders and religious leaders, the leadership of Islamic Emirate is extending the deadline of 7:00 pm today for 24 hours in the hope that inshaAllah we will achieve a positive result.

Two US Supply Vehicles Demolished In Paktika

At 6:00 am this morning, in the Zemok area of Khoshamand district of Paktika province, Mujahideen from the Islamic Emirate ambushed a oil tanker and supply truck that were transporting supplies to a US invaders base in the Waza Khwa district of the same province. As the result, both vehicles were demolished but there no accurate details of the enemy casualties yet.

Also yesterday Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate destroyed a US tank that was part of a convoy of US invaders using a remote-controlled landmine in Chori village of Khoshamnd district of Paktika province. The tank was demolished and heavy enemy casualties resulted.

Nine Policemen Killed Helmand

Yesterday afternoon three policemen were killed by Mujahideen from the Islamic Emirate when they were patrolling in the in Adam Khan area of Grishk district of Helmand province

Also yesterday Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate destroyed a vehicle belonging to commander Samad Khan of Grishk district of the same province using a remote-controlled landmine. The vehicle was destroyed and six policemen were killed as the result.

Criminal Officer Of Farsi District Targeted In Herat

Yesterday Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate ambushed the vehicle of the criminal officer of Farsi district of Herat province. In the attack, three of his soldiers were killed and their weapons were taken as booty.

Checkpoint Demolished In Helmand

Last night Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate attacked a mercenary army checkpoint in Grishk district of Helmand province. The checkpoint was destroyed and five soldiers were killed. Their weapons were taken as booty.

Police Patrol Attacked In Balkh

Last night Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate ambushed a pickup vehicle that was part of a police patrol in Temorak area of Charbolk district of Balkh province. The vehicle was destroyed and a commander along with five soldiers were killed.

Police Vehicle Destroyed In Kunduz

At 12:00pm last night, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate attacked a police vehicle as it was on patrol in the Dashti Archi district of Kunduz province. The vehicle was completely destroyed and five policemen inside were killed.
