Iranian nation and government are always ready for all types of threats, an Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) official said. Representative of the Supreme Leader in the IRGC’s regional headquarters in Zanjan, Ali Ma’boudi, told FNA on Sunday that Iranian nation may never bow to enemies, reminding that Iranians have always stood up to the US threats during the last 28 years and passed all tests successfully.
Referring to the different types of threats posed by the US to Iran since the onset of the Islamic Revolution, he reiterated that the Untied States has never succeeded in defeating Iran.
“The US has never been able to make Iran retreat. Actually, this has been the US which has eventually been obliged to withdraw,” Ma’boudi continued.
He further dismissed the US threats to Iran in the last few months, reminding that the US has always been threatening Iran in the post revolution era.
“These measures merely serve as a part of psychological warfare to sow seeds of discord between the Iranian nation and government to make the Islamic Republic give in to West’s demands,” the official stressed.
He also said that the vigilance of the Iranian nation and their obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, have defused all enemies’ plots and psychological operations.
