Haddad Adel Appointed as Leader’s New Senior Advisor

TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in two separate decrees on Saturday appointed Gholam Ali Haddad Adel as his senior advisor and Saeed Jalili as his representative in the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

Supreme leader in his decree for Haddad Adel said, “Considering your valuable experiences in political and cultural fields, especially during your tenure as Majlis (parliament) speaker and with the aim of enjoying your potentials and experiences, I appoint your Excellency as senior advisor to the leader.”

In his decree for Saeed Jalili, the supreme leader wrote “Upon Article 176 of the Constitution, you are appointed as my representative in the Supreme National Security Council for a period of three years.

Considering the vital decisions of the SNSC for country’s independence and security, I expect your active participation and constant consultation with me.”
