Iranian FM Meets Azeri President

A02268328.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Saturday conferred with Azeri President Elham Aliyev on ways to expand mutual relations and reviewed the regional developments.

Mottaki conveyed the warm greetings of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Azeri president.

The two sides exchanged views on expansion of mutual relations as well as regional developments behind closed doors.

During his one-day stay, the Iranian foreign minister is to confer with his Azeri counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov on issues of mutual interests too.

Expansion of Tehran-Baku relations and the latest regional and international developments top the agenda of talks between Mottaki and the Azeri officials.
