Communist Party of Moldova takes lead with 41.7%: exit poll

CHISINAU, Moldova

The Communist Party of Moldova takes a lead with 41.7%, the exit poll of the Public Policy Institute reports, Novosti Moldova informs. 17,385 respondents took part in the survey. The admissible mistake rate in the exit poll data is of 2%, the institute explained.

The Liberal-Democratic Party gets 17.4% of the votes, the Liberal Party – 16%, the Democratic Party – 12.5%, and the Alliance “Our Moldova” – 8%. Three other parties do not pass the 5% election threshed and will not enter the new parliament.
