Georgian Deputy PM leaves for Montenegro

The Georgian Deputy Prime Minister, Giorgi Baramidze has left for Montenegro to pay a working visit. Baramidze will meet with Prime Minister of Montenegro, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Defense and Foreign Affairs.

In the history of Georgia and Montenegro, this is the first visit of this kind. The meetings will focus on the formation of bilateral relations and Georgia’s integration into NATO, the consequences of the Georgian-Ossetian war, the issues related to the efforts of the Georgian leadership and the international community to de-occupy the country, as well as prospects for attracting investment. Montenegro can get the NATO MAP by late 2009.
