Bulgarian PM to open Annual International Defense and Security Business Conference

Bulgarian Prime Minister (PM) Boyko Borisov will open the Annual International Defense and Security Business Conference that will be held on November 24 and 25.
The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and the Ministry of Defense will host the conference devoted to the offsent program. The discussion on the first day of the Conference will be held in the Military Academy.

The event will provide new strategic conception of NATO, the modernizing of the Bulgarian Army, Bulgarian contribution to the military operations in Afghanistan, post-war restoration of this country, trust. Co-operation and security NATO brought to the Balkans.

On November 25 the participants at the discussion will discuss the implementation of the offset in Bulgaria as well as the economic mechanism for modernization of the industry and development of science.

It is expected managers of both Bulgarian and international companies in the field of defense and high technologies as well as representatives of the scientific filed, non-governmental sector, embassies of NATO member states and well as media to present at the event.
