Minister for Kosovo meets with UNMIK chief

Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanović has meet with the UN mission in Kosovo, UNMIK, chief Lamberto Zannier.

The two discussed the mission’s future role, and the need for it to act in a status-neutral manner, a statement from the ministry said this Thursday in Belgrade.

“Bogdanović and Zannier spoke today about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the future role of the mission in the province, and the necessity for it to act in a status-neutral manner, within the framework of UNSCR 1244,” the statement said.

According to this, the meeting concluded that the cooperation had been at a satisfactory level, but that “some unclear issues” that existed in the past should be solved in the future through better coordination and more intensive communication.
