Greece’s Alternate FM Droutsas invites UN special envoy Nimetz to visit Athens

Greece’s Alternate Foreign Minister Dimitriis Droutsas has invited the UN special envoy on the name issue Matthew Nimetz to visit Athens.

The brief statement released by Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, says Droutsas invited the UN mediator in telephone conversation. No further details on the conversation have been disclosed thus far.

The invitation came just two days after Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki had initiated a meeting with Minister Droutsas. The two are expected to meet in London.
