Top Russian Balkans official meets with Serb Radical Party

Chief of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Balkan Sector, Aleksandr Alexeyev, met with Serb Radical Party (SRS) senior officials.

They discussed bilateral relations between Serbia and Russia.

According to a statement from the SRS, Alexeyev agreed that the question of Kosovo “must exclusively be solved within the framework of Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.”

The meeting was attended by SRS deputy leader Dragan Todorović and other senior party officials, and included discussion of the Kosovo problem. Both sides agreed that the question must be solved according to international law.

The SRS officials, who are in Moscow for the meeting, also met with officials of A Just Russia and signed a cooperation agreement with the party.
