Baku launches exercises with Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian military

Today the Simulation Center of the Military Academy of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched the command-staff exercises “ETERNİTY-2010”. Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian military will attend the exercises.

“These exercises are conducted more than 10 years by the principle of priority in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia,” Ramiz Najafov said at the launch ceremony of the exercises, head of International Military Cooperation, Major General, welcomed the guests on behalf of Defense Minister Safar Abiyev.

Following the announcement of the opening command and staff exercises, the anthems of three countries were performed, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

The command-staff exercises “ETERNİTY-2010” will be held from September 20-23. Over 12 military from Turkey and Georgia, 20 military from Azerbaijan will participate there.
