European Trade Commissioner visits Moldova

European Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht is to arrive on a visit to Moldova on Monday. It is expected that the visit will launch negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas.

The Commissioner is to meet with acting President Marian Lupu and Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The meetings will launch the negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas and confirm the parameters within which the chief negotiators will act.
