Iurie Leanca appointed as Moldova’s caretaker PM

Moldova’s Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca has been named the country’s new caretaker prime minister by President Nicolae Timofti.

The President signed an appointment decree on April 23.

The Moldovian Parliament will vote on a new government during this week.
