Georgian President visited Moldova, held meetings on political processes

Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili held the bilateral meetings within his working visit to Moldova.

Saakashvili has already met with Moldovan president Nicolae Timofti and Prime Minister Yuri Lanke. The current political processes, process of integration to the European organizations and preparation for the Vilnius summit were main objects of discussions, the presidential administration told Trend on Friday.

The Moldovan part expressed its support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Moreover, the parties stressed the necessity of peaceful settlement of conflicts and importance of intensifying the European support in this process.
