Nuland to visit Bulgaria

Victoria Nuland, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, will visit Bulgaria on Monday.

The talks were scheduled between Nuland and government representatives from Bulgaria, where bilateral cooperation in energy and economy are discussed.

Before Bulgaria, U.S. Secretary counselor was in Moldova, the crisis in Ukraine and Moldova’s Transnistrian region has been the subject of discussions with officials.

Nuland is to join later, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, in Brussels, where a meeting of NATO members will take place on Tuesday 1 to 4.
