Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami warned the Israeli regime that Iran’s retaliatory action in revenge for the assassination of the Hamas chief in Tehran will be different this time.
In remarks at a cultural conference in Iran’s Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province on Sunday, the IRGC commander said the Israeli regime will have to face “the bitter taste of revenge” for its evil acts, but it is uncertain when, where and how the revenge will be wreaked.
Iran will definitely act differently this time, Major General Salami warned, noting that this riddle will be ultimately solved.
He also reminded the Israeli regime and its allies that the era of hit and run is over, cautioning them that they will learn big lessons and bear in mind that they should not play with fire.
The Israeli regime, which has been surrounded by Muslims in an occupied enclave, is shaking with the nightmare of Iran’s definite retaliatory action, the general added.
Head of the political bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh, who was in Tehran to attend the Iranian president’s swearing-in ceremony, was martyred in an Israeli operation in the early hours of July 31.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has warned the Israeli regime of a “harsh response” for Haniyeh’s assassination, calling it the Islamic Republic’s duty to avenge the Palestinian resistance leader’s blood.
