Dragging about the elections in the north of Kosovo scheduled for April 23: Kurti is buying time

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also spoke about the political situation and the announced elections in four municipalities in the north of Kosovo at a meeting with Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija in Raška.

He said that the elections were scheduled even though Belgrade requested that the ZSO be formed first in order for the Serbs to return to the institutions, the president said.

Vučić points out that Kurti insists on this, so that he can say that he wants to form the ZSO, but that all the mentioned municipalities are no longer Serbian.

• That would buy another six months, a year, until the occupation is over. And then from the west they tell us not to interfere with that. Why should I not disturb them. That 99 percent of people don’t ask anything. And I guess that is democracy, which if we threaten, we will be tyrants, a disruptive factor, and people who destroy stability and peace in the Balkans – said Vučić.

He stated that he knows that the Serbs have decided not to participate in the elections and called on all people to be united and that everyone behaves as the decision was made today.

• Kurti will be the mayor of Severen Mitrovica. And maybe it’s better to make things obvious and not fool anyone anymore. It is the most democratic country and they killed a man because of pots and pans – said Vučić.

He said that from the 2015 agreement, Serbia has the right to finance the ZSO and that this is a provision of the greatest importance.

• It’s no big secret that our hands are tied. And I learned that anything wrong done by Kurti or the so-called international community is my fault. and I don’t have a problem with answering non-truths and lies. It is up to us not to spend too much time on it – he said.

About re-registration of tables

According to Vučić, there is a big problem with the plates and they sent the last proposal to Brussels yesterday, which is more than a compromise.
