Biden is not siding with Netanyahu? When asked about the attacks on Gaza, his response may not please the Israelis

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, stated that the Israeli people and public have reasons to believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prolonging the war in Gaza for political reasons.
“There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion,” Biden told Time.

In the interview with Time, Biden assessed that an agreement to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia “would be largely in our interest.”

“I’ve met with all the families. But we don’t have conclusive evidence on who exactly is alive,” the U.S. President said.

When asked whether Israel had committed war crimes in Gaza, Biden responded “it’s uncertain.”

Netanyahu has long faced such criticisms, especially in recent days after his far-right coalition partners threatened to bring down his government if the Israeli Prime Minister sticks to the proposed hostage agreement he approved last week, which could potentially lead to an end to the war in Gaza.

For months, the Israeli Prime Minister has avoided holding strategic meetings regarding post-war governance in Gaza, sidestepping conflicts with Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who have called for the permanent occupation of Gaza and the establishment of Israeli settlements there.
