Afghan official says 50 Taliban killed or wounded

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) – Foreign forces in Afghanistan have killed or wounded 50 suspected Taliban militants in an air strike in the southern province of Uruzgan province, an Afghan police official said on Tuesday.

The raid took place in Tarin Kot district on Monday, the province’s intelligence chief, Gulab, said. Both the NATO-led force and the U.S. military said they had no information on the raid.
