TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said enemies are not capable of confronting the Iranian nation.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks after he cast his vote in the 4th Assembly of Experts, the 3rd local councils and the second by-elections of the 7th parliament elections.
He said that the Iranian nation is decisive to move forward in the path of grandeur and greatness with might.
The president said that Iranians are building their country at a high speed, and further praised the nation for complying with its duties.
He said that the Iranian nation is truly clever and has always made enemies regretful, “although our nation has been always targeted by spiteful people.
Ahmadinejad expressed the hope that enemies would revise their path and give up their grudge against Iranians, stressing that no enemy or barrier could impede the Iranian nation’s movement towards glory and grandeur.
Asked about enemies’ efforts to make the Iranian people frustrated so that they would not turn out at the elections, he said, “Despite all such efforts, the Iranian nation has remained firm in participating in the elections.”
The president underlined that the Iranian nation would pay no attention to such efforts “because today it is in a position to guide the human society intellectually.”
