TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Government Spokesman Gholam Hussein Elham here on Tuesday said that barring IAEA inspectors from entering Iran does not mean halt of cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, stressing that all states are entitled to express their views about nuclear inspectors.
“According to the relevant rules and regulations, governments are conventionally allowed to refrain from granting entry permits to some International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors,” Elham told reporters during his weekly press briefing, reiterating that the measure does not mean a halt of Tehran’s cooperation with the IAEA.
“We do not perceive any problem in our relations with the IAEA and we continue all our nuclear activities under its inspection,” he added.
