Georgia and Hungary sign defence memorandum

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania met with his Hungarian counterpart Csaba Hende during an official visit to Budapest.

The official welcoming ceremony was held at the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, the Georgian Defence Ministry told Trend on Friday. During the meeting, the defence ministers discussed bilateral cooperation.

According to the report, Irakli Alasania emphasized Hungary’s support for Georgia on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the participation of Hungarian officers in the EU observer mission.
