The president further appreciated the Algerian government and nation for their hospitality.

Ahmadinejad also said that the two states would ink more agreements during an upcoming visit to Tehran by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

“The Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is scheduled to pay an official visit to Tehran in the near future with an aim of finalizing other agreements,” he said, adding, “I hope to meet him in Tehran as soon as possible.”

He also voiced pleasure in his political talks with Algerian officials, saying that the two sides shared common views extensively.

“Our views about Arab world, regional, Islamic and global issues are very close,” the Iranian president reiterated.
