The Georgian government will send humanitarian aid and rescuers to Moldova today after mass flooding.  Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili spoke with the Moldovan government over the telephone this week and offered to build a village for victims in Georgia. 

The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received Georgia’s Prime Minister Nika Gilauri. The Georgian Premier conveyed President Mikheil Saakashvili’s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.

Romania has always recognized and supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and will continue to maintain this position, Romanian FM Teodor Bakonski said at the meeting with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mamedyarov in Baku on July 19.

Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan and Moldova on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed during Moldova’s constitutional court head’s visit to Azerbaijan. The memorandum was signed by chairmen of Azerbaijani and Moldovanian constitutional courts Farhad Abdullayev and Dumitru Pulbere.

The Turkish Coast Guard’s TCSG-122 ship will arrive in Georgian territorial waters July 14. The ship will sail to Georgia under a military cooperation plan between the Turkish General Staff and the Georgian Border Police.
