Jewish Settlers Aggressions Against Al Aqsa

Fanatic Zionist groups intensified their desecrating assaults on the Aqsa Mosque, especially with the advent of the Jewish Passover feast, as big numbers of Israeli settlers and foreign nationals were seen strolling in the Aqsa plazas under heavy IOF guards without paying any respect to the sanctity of the place. For its part, the Aqsa foundation that caters Muslims’ holy shrines in Palestine, warned of the intensive presence of those fanatic groups and tourists who roam around the place in shameful cloths without respecting Muslims’ feeling.  A number of Palestinian scholars and Islamic leaders, including Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, Mufti of Palestine, and Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands, among other personalities had repeatedly warned of the accelerated Israeli occupation government’s steps to judaize the Muslim holy city, and of the serious Israeli excavations under the Aqsa that gravely threaten the Mosque’s foundations.  Meanwhile, Head of the Iranian Shoura (consultative) Council, Ghulam Ali Haddad, asserted that the Palestinian question will not be justly resolved unless Palestinian people retrieve all their usurped legal rights, and all Palestinian refugees returned to their homelands. He called on the Muslim world to extend a helping hand to the economically besieged Palestinian people in order to counter-balance the Zionist political and financial influence, and to exert all possible efforts that will enable them fulfill their national aspirations.
