Haniyah Pays Tribute to Late Imam Khomeini

A0163859.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Ismayil Haniyah here on Sunday paid tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini.

Palestinian premier arrived in Tehran on Thursday and attended meetings with different Iranian officials, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Parliament Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel and first Vice-President Parviz Dawoodi.

In a ceremony held at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic in southern Tehran, Haniyah laid a wreath on Imam’s grave.

The Palestinian prime minister is also due to meet Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei here today.
