Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar here Saturday said Iranian armed forces will give the most crushing response to any kind of threat. Speaking at an annual military parade to mark the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war on Iran, the minister viewed the recent threats of military aggression against Iran as a part of enemies’ psychological warfare against the Islamic Republic.
He also said that all enemies’ measures are monitored by Iran vigilantly.
Najjar further stressed that Iran’s military achievements and defensive capabilities serve regional peace and stability.
He also reminded that the military achievements and weapons displayed during today’s military parade proved that enemies’ sanctions against the Islamic Republic are futile.
Asked to comment on Israel’s intrusion into Syrian airspace and if the air strike conveyed any specific message for Iran, the defense minister said, “Following its defeat in the 33-day war against Lebanon, Israel is living under much humiliation and it, thus, embarks on such hopeless operations in a bid to cover its failures and defeats and to help get rid of its internal problems.”
