Iran’s Exports Up by 39%

196311.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s exports have increased by 39% this year, an official said.In the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 20) the value of the country’s exports have increased by 39 percent, head of the export commission of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Asadullah Asgaroladi told FNA.

Exports of both petrochemical products and industrial goods increased by 20 percent during the period while the export of traditional goods declined by 4 percent, he added.

Iran’s industrial and mineral exports have increased by more than 46 percent in the first four months of the current Iranian year.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran are currently discussing how to remove some of the obstacles existing in exporting traditional goods, he added.

Asgaroladi said more information will be provided to the public about these obstacles on exporting traditional goods in the next few days.
