Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen reiterated that Holland is adamant in its stance of not allowing Serbia to continue its European integration.
“The development of the situation in Serbia has not changed. We made a decision within the (EU) Council of Ministers that the interim trade agreement with Serbia cannot be accepted until full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal is achieved.”
“That still has not happened, so the stance of the Council of Minister, and our stance, cannot change,” Verhagen told Belgrade daily Večernje Novosti.
Verhagen is in Luxembourg, where he is participating in an EU ministerial meeting for general affairs and foreign policies.
He said that he will most likely be visiting Serbia by the end of the year.
