Macedonian PM meets with Ukraine’s president

Macedonia and Ukraine have perfect political relations, which should be also backed by bilateral economic cooperation, Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said after meeting Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych in Kiev.

Gruevski, who is on an official two-day visit, said further that there is a chance to develop the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Yanukovych, on the other hand, said that Ukraine is interested in cooperating with the countries from the Balkan region and especially with Macedonia. The Ukrainian president also stressed on the need to lift the visa regime between the two countries.
