Azerbaijan, Turkey sign bilateral agreements

A ceremony to sign Azerbaijan-Turkey documents has today been held in Ankara as part of President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to the country.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a declaration on results of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov and President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey-TUBITAK Yucel Altunbasak signed a protocol between the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of science and technology.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov and Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications Binali Yildirim signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening science, technology, industry and entrepreneurship between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov and Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications Binali Yildirim signed an agreement in the field of the international combined shipping between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov and Turkey’s Minister of Internal Affairs Muammer Guler signed a cooperation agreement between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of security.
