Turkey not yet decided on CAR mission

Turkey has yet to take a decision to meet the demand for the EU to contribute to the mission to deploy troops in Central African Republic, but plans to send an officer of the army group and a plane.

Turkish leaders political approval is expected after the end of March.

Ankara is to analyze the possibility of sending military officers to be charged at the office or by sending a C130.

The staff is still considering military contribution and a political decision be taken by the Turkish government.

At the end of January, the Security Council authorized UN European troops to use force in the Central African Republic.
