Quake Hits Northeastern Iran

A02859909.jpgAn earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Bojnourd in the northeastern Iranian province of Northern Khorassan. The seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 06:12 hours local time (02:42 GMT).

FNA dispatches said that the quake has caused no casualties but inflicted some damage on several residential units.
