Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Tehran’s new ambassador to Poland Hadi Farajvand here on Sunday, voiced Iran’s preparedness to develop ties with east European countries based on mutual respect.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad voiced his country’s enthusiasm for expanding ties with all the different world states, including those in northern and central Europe, based on mutual respect, reminding that Iran favors cordial and fair ties with all countries.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here on Sunday said that his country would open its embassy in the Gambian capital city of Banjul in the near future.
