Serbia will accept talks, but not a drastic change to its UN General assembly Kosovo resolution, MFA sources said in Belgrade today. The United States and the EU have been increasing their diplomatic offensive, while media reports place the forthcoming visit of German FM Guido Westerwelle in that context. 

EULEX Deputy Head Roy Reeve said Monday that the EU mission has appointed seven of its judges to the court in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. According to him, this came in an attempt to reduce the number of unresolved cases, which has reached 20,000.

“There are chances for Moldova in October to receive a road map from the EU that will open clear prospects on the visa regime liberalization,” Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
