SOFIA
“We will seek a responsible policy, and not a narrow party one”, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, chairperson of the Citizen for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) and named as the future Interior Minister of Bulgaria, said short before the sitting of the CEDB MPs.
CEDB MPs are gathering Monday at a meeting before the first sitting of the 41st National Assembly on Tuesday, July 14. The meeting is organized at a hotel in the Simeonovo residential district in Sofia.
Asked whether the ruling CEDB will cooperate with the parliamentary group of the now oppositional Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Tsvetan Tsvetanov, said that CEDB will work with all parties with consistent and constructive police.
In Tsvetanov’s words, at today’s meeting the newly elected CEDB MPs will discuss the nominations of chairperson and deputy chairperson of the parliamentary group of the party. Tsetska Tsacheva is not the sole nomination for chairperson of 41st National Assembly, Tsvetanov remarked.
CEDB leader and mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov has not arrived yet.
