قالت مصادر إسرائيلية أن رئيس الحكومة، إيهود أولمرت، أصدر تعليمات إلى الأجهزة الأمنية بوضع جدران مؤقتة في المقاطع المفتوحة في مسار جدار الفصل المسمى “غلاف القدس”ØŒ وزيادة قوات الاحتلال في المنطقة، كما طلب من الشرطة زيادة قواتها على طول مسار الجدار، علاوة على تركيب أجهزة الكترونية للمراقبة.
