Moldova elections: Parallel vote count confirms Dorin Chirtoaca’s victory with 50.55%

The parallel count of the votes cast in the second round of the mayoral elections confirms the victory scored by the Liberal Party’s candidate Dorin Chirtoaca. According to the results announced in a news conference on Monday, 50.55% of the electors voted for Dorin Chirtoaca, while 49.45% for Igor Dodon.
